Illiana

I would like you all to meet darling Illiana!  Illiana is 14 years old, and the sweetest little treasure! :) 

She was born with Down syndrome, and has been living in a mental institution for most of her life.  She walks, eats, and gets dressed all by herself.  She is very social and love attention, she is good at recognizing others, as well as her own emotions.  She shows attachment, joy, and anxiety, she also shows when she needs to use the bathroom.  She freely interacts with staff, other children, and unfamiliar people. She behaves well, and understands others when they speak, and can pronounce some words by imitation. 

Illiana, has waited so, so, long for a family of her own, and sweet girl only has a little over a year to find a forever family!  I love this little darling so much, and want to do everything in my power to get her HOME. :)
